SubURBAN Festival of Urban Arts
Renfrewshire, August 2002
Designed, produced and delivered Renfrewshire Council's first festival of Urban Arts. Aimed at 12 - 17 year olds throughout Renfrewshire's towns. Workshop activities included web design, urban poetry, Djing, graffiti art, animation, music and street dance. The festival culminated in the performance of 'Underpassed' in the town of Erskine. This six week celebration of non-traditional arts was a huge success and now stands as a landmark event, representing a model of good practice in arts and education.
